The short version

  • Bajnok has no accounts, no ads and no third-party analytics.
  • Your training data lives on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. We cannot see it.
  • Health and location are used only for the features you turn on.
  • You can export or erase everything from Settings.

1Who we are

Bajnok is an iPhone app made by ROMPF, s.r.o., J. Fučíka 821, 925 22 Veľké Úľany, Slovakia, company ID 36 668 338 (“we”). You can reach us at support@bajnok.app. If you write to us, we use your address and your message only to answer you.

2What Bajnok stores

Bajnok stores what you log: workouts, sets, routines, runs, the body weight you enter, any progress photos you add, and your settings.

It is saved on your iPhone, and your logbook syncs through your private iCloud database, which belongs to your Apple ID. We run no server of our own and never receive this data. Apple’s handling of iCloud is covered by Apple’s privacy policy.

3Apple Health

If you allow it, Bajnok reads your most recent body weight from Health to pre-fill it when you log a bodyweight set, and saves your finished workouts to Health so they appear with your other activity.

Health data stays on your devices and in your Apple accounts. We do not receive it, share it, or use it for advertising. You can change the permission at any time in the Health app.

4Location

During an outdoor run or walk, Bajnok uses your location to measure distance and pace. This continues while your screen is locked, for as long as the run is live, and stops when you finish. Bajnok does not use your location at any other time, and we never receive it.

5Photos

You can add a progress photo when you finish a workout. You pick it with the system photo picker, so Bajnok sees only the photo you choose and not the rest of your library. Bajnok keeps it with that workout.

6Notifications

Rest timer alerts and the signals of a run are created on your iPhone. iCloud may also send silent notifications to keep your devices in sync.

7Subscriptions and Apple

Purchases are handled by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see your payment details. Apple gives us sales totals, and, if you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, anonymous statistics about usage and crashes. Neither identifies you.

8What we do not do

9Keeping and deleting

Your data stays until you remove it. In Settings you can export everything as a file, or use Erase all data, which deletes every workout, routine, run and progress photo, and the Health workouts Bajnok wrote. The deletion syncs through iCloud to your other devices.

Deleting the app removes the copy on that iPhone. The iCloud copy is managed in your iPhone’s iCloud settings.

10Children

Bajnok is not directed at children under 16.

11This website

This website is served by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and the details of your request to deliver the pages and protect the site. We add no analytics and no tracking cookies. Cloudflare’s handling is covered by Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

12Changes and contact

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Questions go to support@bajnok.app.

If you think we have handled your personal data wrongly, you can complain to the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic or to the data-protection authority where you live.
